       1:00 pm:         Parade steps off

                                Route: East on Smith St., right on Canal, right on Steeple, through Exchange
                                Terrace, left on Dorrance, left on Washington, into Bank of America City
                                Center   (skating rink)

 


       2:45 pm:        Public viewing: Portugal vs. Turkey UEFA Euro 2008 Soccer Match  televised
                                live from Geneva, Switzerland.

  

       5:00 pm:        Opening ceremonies: Master of Ceremonies, Ricardo Farias of WJFD-FM,
                                97.3, Rádio Globo
 


       5:30 pm :       Performance by Rancho Folclórico


       6: 15 pm:      “As Novas Estrelas”: Winners of the Dia da Juventude Festival das Novas
